This dish is delicious and delightful. Sorry I didn't measure (which I hardly ever do) I can estimate but it will not be exact.

For every cup of wheat you will need two cups of water. Bring your water to a nice boil. Pour in wheat. Simmer on med/low heat for 10/15 minutes. Remove from heat and cover for about 10 minutes.

Cracked wheat
Diced tomatoes
Fresh parsley
Olive oil
Onion powder
Minced garlic
Lemon juice

2 cups cracked wheat

1 cup diced tomatoes (I use canned)

1 cup parsley

½ cup olive oil

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp cumin

2 tsp minced garlic

1 Tbs lemon juice

Add a little at a time. You can always add more but once you have too much you can’t fix it.

Cracked wheat is actually the result of the grains (which are berries) being broken into smaller pieces. The smaller the size the faster it will cook. You can pick this up at most health food stores. I actually purchased a large bag for less than 5 dollars at a local cheese shop.
